DESCRIPTION:Sponsored by:\n																														\nPrepared Public Speaking Contest-\nTargeting personal communication skills, message formation, and oral delivery.  Students part of a Montgomery County school will research an agricultural topic, prepare a speech, and deliver the speech to a panel of judges, who will then ask questions.\nDiscussion Meet/Debate-\nTargeting critical thinking skills and the ability to present an effective case related to a topic.  Students part of a Montgomery County school learn from agricultural experts on a topic, and then in groups of four, work to discuss the topic and generate potential solutions.\n					\n									DISCUSSION MEET TOPICS\n					\nFor more information, please download the Contest Rules Below.
