DESCRIPTION:This cool weather competition will warm us all for the coming Fair with all proceeds going to the MCFA Scholarship Fund. Scholarships are awarded Montgomery County Seniors looking to pursue further education after High School as well as to County youth through their participation in one or more of our Fair programs. The “meat” of the competition will be a from-scratch Chili Cook-Off, but the fun will continue with a cornhole tournament, prizes, and more!\nDetails:\nSaturday February 7, 2026 – Montgomery County Fairground Pavilions\n\nChili Cook-Off Team Entry: (Limited to 40 teams)\nChili\nBloody Mary\nBest Dressed Bloody Mary (Optional)\nKids Open Breakfast: Kids are encouraged to participate in this new category to show off their culinary skills! Food to be prepared on-site. $20 per child.\nCook-Off Details: Teams of up to 3 individuals will collaborate a pot of prize-winning Chili for Champion, Reserve and 3rd Place. Bloody Mary’s will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place. Taster’s Choice will be given 1st place only.\n\n\n7:00-8:30am: Check-in and Setup\n9:00am: Cooks Meeting\n9:30am: Kids Breakfast Turn-in\n10:00am: Cornhole Tournament\n10:00am: Bloody Mary turn-in\n12:00pm: Chili turn-in\n1:00pm: Decorated Bloody Mary turn-in\n2:30pm: Results/Awards\n\nCosts:\n\n$300/Team of 3\n\nGames & Prizes:\n\nGames: A corn hole tournament will be open to the public with a $20 buy-in.\n(Limited to 32 teams & not for points)\nPrizes: Awards, website, and social media recognition will go to the top 3 teams in each competition.
