The Montgomery County Fair and Rodeo hosted its inaugural Faith at the Fair event on Sunday, April 12, at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds.
Faith at the Fair is a new, family-friendly celebration of faith and community in Montgomery County. The event brought together residents from across the county for a day of encouragement, connection and fellowship.
“This was an important day for our Fair and our community — one I am truly proud to have been part of,” said MCFA Immediate Past President and committee chairman Cody Bartlett.
Attendees enjoyed a Cowboy Church service, a Hope and Help Showcase featuring local ministries and nonprofits, and performances by Luke Bower, The Figs and Breakaway Worship. With engaging displays, an interactive prayer wall and other activities, the event offered something for guests of all ages.
When inclement weather forced all live musical performances to move from the fairgrounds to the Lone Star Convention Center, the Faith at the Fair Committee acted quickly to ensure the program continued without delay.
“I want to sincerely applaud the commitment and hard work of our team and everyone involved, including our talented music acts and the area nonprofits who showed up ready to serve despite the weather challenges,” Bartlett said.
The Montgomery County Fair’s Faith at the Fair Committee is already making plans to make next year’s event more engaging and to welcome even more guests.
“A special thank you goes to our committee, whose determination and flexibility made it possible to transition the event from the fairgrounds to the Lone Star Convention Center and ensure it continued without interruption,” Bartlett said. “Faith at the Fair is a meaningful addition to the Fair’s offerings, and the excitement surrounding it is undeniable. We are already looking forward to 2027.”
The Montgomery County Fair and Rodeo brings families, youth exhibitors, and visitors together for livestock shows, rodeo events, live entertainment, and family-friendly attractions annually. The fun kicked off at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Conroe, Texas on Thursday, April 9 and will conclude on Sunday, April 19.
