Livestock Auction: Ticket Required $250 for 2 guests, $100 for each additional guest
Ticket includes bidder paddle, and auction buyers seating area – no one under 21 in buyers’ area.

      Your Ticket Payment is credited to your 2022 Livestock Auction purchase but cannot be used to pay for “Add-on” submissions. If you do not “buy” a sale order item, your ticket payment will be divided among the 135 Sale Order Items at the Auction on March 30th.

You must have high quality – fast internet speeds to ensure the best user experience. Please make accommodations where necessary. Cattle in Motion software is not compatible with all devices so again, please visit and be sure to prepare in advance of Auction Day.

Follow the Prompts to Register as a Bidder

Click “Sign Up” in the top right corner to create an online bidder account.

Record or Write down your registration name and your password*
*You will use this information for all MCFA Auctions

Cattle in Motion will charge a $1.00 set up fee at time of registration to verify a viable CC payment option.


Early Bidding (once sale order has been posted)

  • Log into the Montgomery County Fair Auctions at
  • Click “Request to Bid” and accept the terms and conditions
  • Once you are approved to bid, Click “View Lots” (posting times above)
  • When you wish to bid on a Sale Item/Lot, Click “Place Bid” and follow instructions.

A “Max Bid” can be placed, and the system will automatically bid the lowest amount to win up to the max.

Live Bidding During Auction

  • Log into the Montgomery County Fair Auctions at
  • Up to one hour prior to Auction start you can enter the Auction lobby by clicking “Enter Auction”
  • Once the Auction begins, you will see and hear the auctioneer as Lots are presented and can place bids in real-time for your chance to win.
  • Winning online bidders will receive email confirmation and instructions on next steps from MCFA.

At Each Auction:

Add on Forms will be available at each Auction for buyers attending and through the Fair office.

All Forms must be received at the FAIR Office no later than Friday April 7, 2023 and must be paid in full at that time.

Guests, family, and friends can enjoy the thrill of watching our Exhibitors at the Auction.

The “Live Auction” link will be active here on the website and on our Facebook Page Thursday, April 8th through the 15th.

The link will only be active the 10 minutes prior to Auction start so make sure and be on time to ensure you are able to view!
