YOUTH RODEO
Registration opens Monday, February 9!
From Mutton busting to Cash Cow, these youth rodeo events are crowd-pleasing and exciting. They offer area youth the opportunity to participate in rodeo events to keep them involved.
EVENTS INCLUDE: MUTTON BUSTIN, STICK HORSE RACE, GOAT RIBBON PULLING, AND CASH COW.
UPDATES FOR 2026
NEW Event: This year we are excited to offer our CPRA Mutton Bustin’ slots! These runs will take place during the Friday and Saturday CPRA Rodeo Performances.
Contestant Selection: Contestants will be selected on a first come, first served basis via the online entry form. We will no longer be using the lottery method to select our contestants.
Entry Fees: Each event will require a non-refundable fee.
– $25 for Goat Ribbon Pulling, Cash Cow, and Stick Horse Races
– $50 for Youth Rodeo Mutton Bustin’
– $100 for CPRA Mutton Bustin’
Age Requirements:
– Stick Horse Races: 3-4
– Mutton Bustin’: 5-7
– Goat Ribbon Pulling: 8-13
– Cash Cow: 9-16
Contestants may only enter into ONE slot per event. Day-of entries MAY be available pending contestant no-shows. We will not know of open slots prior to contestant check-in.
